White Jade Sword Head, Han, 4.9 cm in diameter and 1.1 cm in thickness
Jade is cyan, slightly black. Round and flaky. The front side is decorated with three groups of intaglio swirl patterns in the middle, and two opposite cloud patterns on the outside. There are two oblique opposite perforations in the middle of the back
Jade sword head was first seen in the Western Zhou Dynasty and was mainly popular from the Warring States to the Han Dynasty. Their shapes are roughly similar, with rich decorative patterns, and some have a round hole in the center. When used, it is embedded in the end of the sword handle
