This is a typical Qin-style pot with round body, round feet, and two animal head rings on the shoulder. There is a cover with three buttons, and the center is decorated with vortex pattern. The neck, shoulder and abdomen of the instrument are lightly carved with bird patterns around and separated by string patterns
This weapon was unearthed from the Qin Tomb of the Western Palace in Luoyang, Henan Province
During the Warring States Period, the status of the Qin bronze pot in the bronze ware was significantly improved. The combination of the Central Plain-style tripod and the Qin-style pot was the basic combination form of the characteristic Qin bronze vessels in this period.
