[Turquoise Fou]
Turquoise Fou, in the Warring States Period, is 19.6 cm high, 20.6 cm wide and 1.78 kg in weight
Fou has a small mouth, a straight neck, an arc belly, and the largest diameter is in the upper abdomen, with a flat bottom, and a short circle foot. The pattern is divided into five layers: the first layer is under the mouth, and the second to fifth layers are in the abdomen. The four layers of decorative patterns on the abdomen are bounded by double string loops. The first to fourth layers of decorative patterns are geometric patterns, and the fifth layer of decorative patterns is vertical leaf bands. It is worth mentioning that the shallow concave patterns cast on the surface of this copper fou are only part of its decoration. The caster initially embedded turquoise powder or black paint in the grooves of the patterns, but now all of them have fallen off. However, we can still imagine how delightful the colorful decoration effect formed by the contrast of two different colors on Fou in the past.
