This device was unearthed from the Warring States Tomb in Yanggong Township, Changfeng County, Anhui Province in 1977. The tomb is a group of Chu tombs in the late Warring States period, only 20 kilometers away from Shouchun, the capital of the State of Chu. Two jade pendants of the same shape were unearthed from the tomb. They were placed on the left and right sides of the human pelvis when unearthed, which is obviously one of the group jade pendants worn by the owner. This dragon and phoenix pendant is a unique shape in the Warring States Period, with exaggerated techniques, exquisite patterns and curly lines. The combination of dragon and phoenix is integrated, reflecting the rich imagination of the producer. This large, intact and exquisite vessel is really rare, which shows the noble identity of the tomb owner.
