Gui has a shallow round belly, flat edge and high circle feet. Four animal ears. The head of each ear is higher than the exit edge, and there are pendulous rectangular small ears. The small ears are close to the ground, and the tail and feet are carved on them, so that the ear and the small ears become a whole in the composition. The abdomen is decorated with round vortex pattern and Kui pattern, and Kui is inverted. The circle foot is decorated with four groups of animal face patterns
The inside of the Gui has an inscription of 5 lines and 30 characters:
Only the first month of the month, the honor
grid, and Wang Xiu gave the minister
the father Rong Zan, and the king naked
Bei Baipeng. For Yang Tianzi
, it is used as a treasure to respect Yi people
The main idea of the inscription: On the day of Jiashen in the first month, Rong arrived here. He is the uncle of the king and also the minister of the court, so he is called “minister father Rong”. The king rewarded him with a jade spoon and a hundred shells for the king’s sacrifice. In order to thank the beauty of the Son of Heaven, Rong made this precious Yi artifact for sacrifice
