[Shougu]

Shougu is 26.4 cm in height, 14.8 cm in width and 0.93 kg in weight
The Gu is round, shaped like a trumpet, extravagant mouth, thin neck, high circle foot, and has four convex edges on the waist and feet. The neck is decorated with banana leaf patterns, the waist is decorated with animal face patterns, there are two cross holes and two string patterns between the waist and the foot, and the foot is hollowed-out with animal face patterns. The inscription “Shou” is on the inner wall of the foot and is called the clan name
The bronze goblet in the late Shang Dynasty is higher than that in the early period, with its mouth gradually increasing, its body becoming thinner, its cross hole becoming smaller, and its waist and feet often have convex ribs. In the Shang and Zhou dynasties, the foot decoration of bronze goblets was rare
