[Beast face grain count]
Beast face grain count, with a height of 16.1 cm, a width of 14.8 cm, and a weight of 0.24 kg. Acquired in 1956, it is one of the earliest artifacts in the current collection of bronzes in the Palace Museum
The oval body has a circle of lip on the inner side of the mouth, a long flow, a short tail, two small columns on the flow mouth, a waist, a circle of convex broad band under the waist, a flat bottom, and three conical feet at the bottom. The belly is decorated with animal face patterns, without ground patterns
In the early Shang Dynasty, the juxtaposition system was simple, the pattern was simple, and the casting was rough, which was the primary stage of bronze.
