The bowl is open, gradually inward below the mouth, flat bottom. Clay red pottery with uneven wall thickness. Cishan culture pottery is mainly made of red pottery, among which bowl is one of the most common shapes. The manufacturing process of this bowl clearly bears the characteristics of pottery in the middle Neolithic Age
Cishan Culture is named after it was first discovered in Cishan Village, Wu’an County, Hebei Province in 1973. According to scientific tests, its age is about 6000 to 5600 BC, and it belongs to the cultural relics of the Middle Neolithic Age in North China.
