The small plate is carved with black and red paint. The whole body is covered with black paint, and the color is set in layers. There are seven layers of stacked lines for wrong weight distribution. The stacked paint is thick and glossy. Round plate, wide mouth, low wall, flat bottom. There is a string pattern on the edge of the mouth. The plate is carved with symmetrical and even cloud hook patterns, and the outer wall is decorated with curly grass patterns. This kind of cloud line carving is also known as “cloud carving”. This piece belongs to the deep and precipitous style, showing the layers with sharp sections.
