Hongxuan (1743-1811), the grandson of Xuanye, Emperor Kangxi, has the name of “Shuzhai” and “Zuiwei”. His name is just like that of a hermit and Taoist priest Yaohua, and his official title is “Gushan Beizi”. It is also known for its poetry, calligraphy and painting. He was a beginner of Dong Bangda (1699-1769), and then followed the Song and Yuan dynasties. His painting style was beautiful and his landscape was particularly lush and colorful.
