He is good at collating books, and is the best at collating ancient steles. He likes to copy the calligraphy of Jin and Tang dynasties, and the real running script is incorporated into the quality. He is one of the top four calligraphers with Jiang Chenying, Wang Shixuan and Chen Yixi. His regular script is particularly neat. All the books collated by him have become the object of competition. This painting is a play after eating crabs at a friend’s home. The pen is flexible, the end of the knot is neat, the lines are elegant and mellow, full of Tang style, and the whole picture is calm and vigorous.
