- Description:
This painting was painted by Wang Bing (the age of birth and death is unknown). The image is very similar to Zhang Zongcang’s “Wanhu Chaotian”. No matter the mountain terrain, the path, or even the pine trees whose foreground is tilted to the left, the painting is still copied, but the size is slightly larger, and it is changed into a silk version. Wang Bingyuan was a disciple of Zhang Zongcang in the palace. Emperor Qianlong liked him very much. In his poem, he mentioned that “Wang Bing was a scholar in the painting academy who could be trained, and he died because of his talent.” Images related to the southern tour, such as Dong Bangda’s interpretation of the Ten Sceneries of the West Lake
