This piece has a wide mouth, a shallow wall and a short circle. The inside of the utensil is plain without lines. One side of the outer wall is painted with red and white plum blossoms and low bamboo groves. The other side is inscribed in ink with the poem “Light and Light Shines on the Stream, Covers the Yaotai”. Two lines are from the first couplet of Du Mu’s five character poem “Plum” in the Tang Dynasty. There are three red seals in front of the poem, “Spring comes first”, and then “Longevity” (in white) and “Fragrance”. The bottom of the utensil is provided with two lines of blue Song typeface made in Yongzheng year.
