The mandala, also known as “Manda” in Tibetan, is a symbol of the Buddha’s world. This round silver covered altar is full of sea waves. Twelve kinds of Buddhist treasures are embossed on the sea: mirror, elephant, jade girl, general, civil servant, horse, tree, snail, sun, ox, moon, and treasure basin; The edge of Fushan and the square city gate are embossed, and the center is a four step square altar. On the side of Man Da, there are relief carvings of eight auspiciousness: Falun, Baoan, Bailuo, Panchang, Fanhua, Baocan, Pisces, and Huagai. The upper and lower edges of Man Da are inlaid with marble and coral beads, followed by relief carvings of diamond pestles inlaid with coral and pine stone, and lotus petals.
