Yun Shouping (1633-1690 AD). The name of this case is Shouping. Later, it was changed into Zhengshu, nicknamed Nantian, or Baiyun Waishi. He was born with wisdom and talent. His poetry, calligraphy and painting were outstanding, especially painting. He was as famous as Wang Shimin and Tu, and was collectively called “Four Wangs Wu Yun”. It is said that what he learned first was the landscape of Shi Hui. Later, when he saw Wang Hui’s paintings, he felt inferior and unwilling to be inferior to others, so he changed to learn flowers, grass and insects, considered the traditional painting methods of the ancients, concentrated on Xu Chongsi’s “no bone method”, and then joined in sketching. Finally, he became the most famous flower expert in the Qing Dynasty. His works were simple and light in ink painting, and bright and bright in color painting, but they all had an elegant and refined temperament.
