- Description:
The gold colored and moving French Sevre porcelain sugar jar has both a taste label and an original sales label at the bottom, revealing the long history of painting and circulation of the whole work. The double “L” in the middle of the greeting marks, which intersected with each other, means Louis XIV or Louis XV, the 18th century king of France. The double “f” in the center of the double “L” is actually a sign of the birth time. This mark can be traced back to 1783 when the work was burned by comparing it with the records of Sevre Porcelain Factory. This fact can be used to explain that the double “L” in the middle represents Louis XV.
