The copper body, the cover and the body are in the same shape to form a five fluted flat box. The inside of the box is covered with light blue glaze. The surface of the box is white. Each fluted box is painted with a different colored crocus flower. The center of the cover is raised and surrounded by a peony flower. The design of the body is the same as that of the cover. In the middle of the bottom is a plum shaped frame surrounded by cloud patterns. In the center of the frame is a five petal flower with a pattern. The blue regular script “Made by Emperor Kangxi” is written around the flower. These small boxes are usually used as inkpad boxes.
