  • Description:
The pages of the small volume are bound with wood at the front and back, and the wooden cover is engraved with “Xun Zhao Kai Bang” and filled with gold clerical characters. The first and last openings of the inner pages are painted with blue bats, flowers and leaves. In addition to these two pages, they are all painted with gold paper and green straight columns. The inner pages are written by Wenning in clerical style with the poems and essays of the Emperor Renzong of the Qing Dynasty (Volume I), “Like Jade Tracing” (Volume XI), “Jade Pagoda” (Volume XVI). Wenning was a scholar in the forty ninth year of Qianlong, and was highly valued in the Jiaqing Dynasty. His smooth writing style in this volume is similar to the beautiful and colorful “Tablet of Cao Quan”, However, there are many corners in stippling, which gives you a different personal style. This piece is stored in the lacquer box together with the other two jade ring fingers. The jade ring fingers are green and white, which is exactly in line with the description of jade quality and color in the imperial poems of Emperor Renzong of the Qing Dynasty: “warm and moist, green in texture, blue in color in the Zhou Dynasty” and “cut fat and subtle in carving”. In addition, Emperor Jiaqing rarely directly applied the poems and articles chanted on the objects or paintings, which is different from the practice of Emperor Qianlong. Therefore, the content of the small volume here is closely connected with the trigger. In addition, just like the content of the jade imperial poetry in the lacquer box, it also mentions the original role of the finger as an auxiliary device for riding arrows and pulling bows, expressing that while appreciating the finger, it still takes the defense of the country’s martial arts and morality as its idea, revealing the concern of Emperor Jiaqing for the country’s prosperity.
