    The Painting of Silkworm Parenting, which was jointly drawn by painters of the Academy such as Lang Shining (1688-1766), has a total of four pieces. Different plots such as the Attainment Altar, the Altar, the Mulberry Picking, and the Cocoon Offering are mounted into four hand rolls, which are wrapped and protected with brocade square scarves. The imperial court of the Qing Dynasty was very particular about mounting, including the production of scarves, materials and patterns.
