The folding edge washes the open mouth, the opening edge is extravagant, the wall is deep and straight, the bottom is flat, and the bottom is exposed. There is only a round concave glaze in the center. The whole vessel is decorated with blue and white flowers. The geometric pattern is painted on the inner bottom center. The inner and outer walls are decorated with flowers of various colors, and the edge of the mouth is painted with waves of sea water. The bottom of the device has a double line regular script made in Yongzheng year of the Qing Dynasty. On June 25 of the third year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong, Samha, the leader of the seventh grade, and Bai Shixiu, the general manager of the imperial court, reported that eunuch Gao Yu had handed over a batch of porcelain of various kinds that had been placed in the magnetic ware warehouse to Tang Ying, who was responsible for making the porcelain ware. In addition to making some adjustments to the shape, size and decorative patterns of several works, Tang Ying instructed Tang Ying to burn and send them, including a “Xuan Kiln Blue and White Hat Washing”. Compared with the works, it can be found that the folding edge washing in the Qianlong period is closer to Xuande’s works in decoration.
