  This set of rhinoceros horn rings (hence 111~hence 114), made in the Qianlong period, has nine original pieces and four existing ones. The surface is decorated with gold and silver filigree inlays such as a dragon, an alien animal, a cloud pattern, a dragon animal pattern, or other geometric patterns. The rhinoceros horn is dark brown. Under the interlaced use of gold and silver filigree, it can be sketched, interlaced, or set off to look like a big, stable object. Each piece has four double circle patterns, “Made in the year of Qianlong” or “used by Qianlong Emperor” are inlaid with gold wire in seal script. Not only is the material precious, but also its inlaying work is fine, which fully demonstrates the beauty of gold and silver inlaying technology. The other set of carved teeth bone inlaid with gold and silver wire ring has eight existing pieces, which are inlaid with gold and silver in the same way. One is black, and the other is white. These two sets of wrenches are packed in red sandalwood cover boxes with special shapes. The appearance is three animal feet. The cover is covered with interlaced intaglio patterns filled with golden dragon patterns. The inside of the cover is a three-layer box with three wrenches in each layer. The production of the ring itself and the carving and modeling design of the outer box all show the characteristics of sculpture, metal inlaying technology and packaging art in the Qing Dynasty.
