- Description:
Ruyi Ear Flat Pot has a small round mouth, a short neck, a flat belly, a flat bottom and no feet, and is connected with Ruyi Ear on the neck and shoulder. The neck is decorated with bamboo leaves, and the two sides of the pot belly depict fruits, branches and leaves. Compared with Ruyi flat jug in Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, the flat jug in Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty was larger, its abdomen was more rounded, and its glaze was slightly grayish blue. The biggest difference is that most of the flat pots in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty were connected from top to bottom, while the works in the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty were connected from front to back. Therefore, the exposed place of the foot on the ground was more like an olive, showing the age difference of craft habits.
