It is a rectangular basin, with flat mouth slightly outside, straight wall, flat bottom and four ladder feet. White glaze is applied inside, and Ruyi cloud and moire are decorated along the mouth. The whole vessel is coated with glass white, and the ground is covered with thin yellow glaze. On the front side, pink chrysanthemums with folded branches are hooked with red lines, while purple and white chrysanthemums and Begonia flowers and leaves are edged with black lines and then filled with color. On both sides of the square basin, white plum and pink peach flowers are decorated. The wall thickness of the planter is up to one centimeter, and there are twelve thin round branch nails around the outer bottom. At the bottom, there are “body and palace system” Zhushu Zhuan style. According to the yellow label on the sample manuscript of the exhibition piece “Colorful Chrysanthemum Pattern Rectangular Flower Pot in Yellow Land” (collected by the Beijing Palace Museum), most flower pots are customized in pairs.
