Qing Palace Works, 18th Century. Butter lamps are indispensable for altar and temple offerings. During the Ming, Qing, and even the Republic of China, a large amount of butter was awarded to the major temples of Tibetan Buddhism during the festival celebrations. This kind of goblet was originally the shape of Tibetan metal ware. In the Qing Palace, it was made of porcelain, enamel, carved lacquer and painted gold lacquer. The picture shows the silk cutting enamel with a brass body, which is decorated with plain pigment, and the surface is decorated with deep blue lotus patterns and flower patterns.
