Yao Wenhan’s life place is unknown, and most of them are Buddhist and Taoist figures. This set of pages are all written by officials in the Qing Dynasty and the works of court painters. Yao Wenhan’s “Picking Flowers in the Pavilion” depicts the beautiful women in the garden playing chess, painting, playing soy sauce and other activities. The beautiful women look like Jiao Bingzhen, but their facial features such as eyes have their own characteristics. Yao Wenhan’s activity time was about the middle of Qianlong, and his beautiful women can be described as the Qing palace style after Chen Mei.
