  • Description:
It has a long neck and a long mouth. The belly of the utensil is full and the bottom is flat. It is a plum shaped utensil. With transparent and translucent enamel white materials as the background, the surface is painted with light ochre, ink color, and glass white materials to paint the winter snow landscape. The fisherman is sitting alone in a boat fishing in coir raincoat. The gray and cold climate is presented by blowing out different glaze layers with exquisite techniques. On the other side of the clerical script, there is a poem: “Wu Tianfeng leaves fall, and it rains six times. Only Jianghu people are floating in the wind and snow. Wearing coir rainbows, they don’t know how cold it is, and they forget to go fishing. It’s like a rich spring bank, and I’m right or wrong.” The three seals of “Leshan Hall”, “Baohe Taihe” and “Xianning in all countries” are depicted in vermilion below. This pair of plum vases with the same composition of foreign color and winter scenery were first exhibited in Chengqian Palace of the Forbidden City in the 13th year of the Republic of China. At that time, they were named “Cold River Fishing Plum Vases Alone”.
