He Yi (who lived in the Kangxi and Yongzheng dynasties) had the name of Dan Shi, the name of Nangu, the surname of Hesheri, and was subordinate to the Manchu Zhenghuang Banner. The official went to the Ministry of Industry to minister. He is indifferent in nature, and specializes in painting outside of zither books. He learned Huang Ding as a beginner and then became a disciple of Wang Yuanqi.
