The whole ivory sculpture is a naturally curly lotus leaf. The front and back of the leaf veins are respectively carved in shade and in shallow relief. The leaf stems are embossed on the back as if they came out of water. From the bottom of the leaf stems, there are three-dimensional new lotus leaves, lotus buds, sagittarius, clinging to the edge of the lotus leaves. The front is embossed with broken rose, chrysanthemum, aquatic plants, shells, frogs, etc., and the back is also embossed with sagittarius, water chestnut and other aquatic plants. The sculpt is unique, and the skilled carvers show the natural texture of plants, which is quite elegant.
