A spring shaped bottle with a copper body and jade pot, with a wide mouth and short feet, is decorated with a lake stone flower scene. Peony, wintersweet and magnolia are delicately and vividly depicted, full of light and shadow changes, revealing that they are influenced by western realistic painting style. Light blue glaze is applied inside the vessel. There are blue materials “made by Emperor Kangxi” on the white ground. Delicate and elegant, and using the new color prepared at this time, it is a masterpiece of the Kangxi Dynasty (1662-1722).
