  In the Kangxi period, the enamel technique of western painting was introduced into the palace and began to be applied to the porcelain body. This bowl has a closed mouth, a deep wall, a short circle, and a thick fetal wall. The inside of the bowl is plain without lines, the outside wall is painted with red ground, the mouth edge is left blank, and the bowl is painted with poppies and chrysanthemums in blue, yellow, purple, and red in a rendering way. The bottom of the bowl is decorated with “Kangxi Imperial” Song style entertainment. This kind of work with large flowers painted on the colored ground is a common decorative form of Kangxi enamel porcelain.
