  It was originally a tree with three stones of different sizes embedded in it when it was growing, so it was born with a stone. Later, it was discovered by people. They marveled at the wonders of nature, so they cut off its branches and made it into a pen pot, which was presented to the inner court. Emperor Qianlong, Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty, could not help admiring when he saw it: “The natural cave is exquisite, and the stone in the middle letter cannot be separated, and it is also a strange thing!” Then he chanted and said, “The strange wood is written with aragonite, and the strength of hardness and softness is eternal; the carving and carving is performed with Ying craftsman, and Xiu Mu is accompanied by Tao Hong. The shape of the solitary peak is beautiful, and it can be used to provide a few clear things for Fei; the coral will make the jadeite jade invisible. Thank God.” The Emperor Qianlong not only ordered the craftsman to engrave the poem on the outer wall of the utensil with clerical script filled in green and yin, but also filled in green clerical script: “Imperial”, and filled in light blue seal seals: “Qian” (round), “Long” (square). This poem and poem preface are included in Volume 78, Wu Yin, and the article “Singing Wooden Roots Brush” in Complete Works of Imperial Poems and Prose of Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty (IV), Second Collection of Imperial Poems. Wuyin was the 23rd year of Qianlong’s reign (1758).
