The iron knife has a rounded edge. The handle and scabbard are made of animal horn and decorated with a hollow silver sleeve with rolled leaves. The scabbard has a ring near the opening. The book knife is a tool for carving bamboo slips or cutting off misplaced characters. It is attached with a long wooden box and a brocade bundle.
