The 108 rosary beads are made of skulls. They are one of the gifts for the sixth Panchen Lama to celebrate the 70th birthday of Emperor Qianlong in the 45th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong. On the seventh day of August of that year, the birthday of Emperor Qianlong was celebrated. The sixth Panchen Lama presented this rosary in the Qingkuang Hall of the Summer Resort. It is inlaid with four large red coral beads as the inlay, and is also equipped with five strings of twist, three of which are decorated with gold beads and Vajra pestles, and the other two are pearls and turquoise.
