This dish has a wide mouth, shallow abdomen and round feet. The outer wall is purple, with a cone shaving phoenix tail shaped curly grass pattern and curly grass pattern on the top and bottom, and a white edge on the mouth and foot. The inner edge of the inner wall and the center of the bowl each have a scroll of grass patterns painted with blue material, in which there is a scroll of grass flowers and brocade patterns painted with white material, while the center of the dish paints the scene of women’s boudoir lessons. In addition, on the white ground of the outsole, there are two lines of the four characters “made in the year of Qianlong” in imitation of the Song Dynasty. It is worth noting that the concave and convex light and dark expression of the figures’ faces reflects the prevailing custom of painting magnetic enamel with Western painting in the Qianlong Palace.
