The horizontal long hairpin, with its head gilded and its bottom covered with dotted green lotus leaves, is made of glass. The nine children each hold auspicious objects such as Taoshi, Swastika, Ganoderma lucidum, Pisces, Sheng, halberd, chime, and Baoxianghua, and play among red and white lotus flowers. The white lotus petals and green lotus roots form a layered picture with dotted green jade and jewels. It not only symbolizes the birth of a son in succession, but also conveys the wishes of longevity, Tianbao’s peace and happiness.
