  • Description:
    There are three inlays of Ruyi. The rosewood Ruyi seat is inlaid with a piece of white ground and red covering material on the head and toe. Above the round head is decorated with a ribbon of Ganoderma lucidum and a swastika, below which are mountains and seas of longevity, and on both sides are decorated with peach fruits. The ribbon represents continuity and implies longevity. The long oval shaped material in the middle of the handle is decorated with a bat mouth chime and a double fish pattern, implying a blessing (good luck). The round toe cover is decorated with the pattern of bat mouth holding peach, and the upper and lower sections of the handle are decorated with a group of white jade twin bat holding longevity patterns. The toe end is a beige double spike, decorated knot. The decorative patterns of the whole vessel mainly symbolize longevity, which is used as a birthday ceremony.
