• Description:
  The mouth of the bowl is skimmed, and the whole body is painted with alum red. The inside and outside of the mouth and foot are decorated with red Ruyi patterns with white leaves. The outside of the cup is painted with a poem “Sanqing Tea” written by the Emperor Qianlong on the white ground. The inside of the cup is painted with Sanqing pictures, including plum blossom, pine tree and Buddha’s hand. The outside is decorated with the same Ruyi patterns as the mouth and foot. The carcass is light and thin, and the texture is delicate. The bottom of the cup is written with two lines of six character seal characters “made in the year of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty”. This is a tea bowl for the Emperor Qianlong to drink Sanqing tea. There are two kinds of porcelain in the courtyard, blue and white and alum red, Its production files can be seen from the record that the Work File was sent to the imperial kiln in Jingdezhen, Jiangxi Province in July of the 11th year of Qianlong’s reign (1746): “On the 28th, eunuch Hu Shijie handed over the bell to the figures on the blue and white ground of the Jiayao kiln, followed the old brocade case, and commanded that the inside bottom should be painted with pine, plum, and Buddhist hand patterns according to this clock pattern, so as to add the same cloud as the inside, the middle should be white, and the outside should be white
