Jin Tingbiao is a scholar of Coyett, a native of Wucheng (now Huzhou, Zhejiang). He is good at figures, flowers, landscapes, and line drawing. In the 25th year of Emperor Qianlong’s reign (1760) of the Qing Emperor Gaozong, during the third southern tour, he entered the plain drawing Arhat book, which was appreciated by Emperor Qianlong and ordered to be enshrined in the inner court.
