    Copper painted enamel. Make a tea pot shape, with straight mouth, short neck, plump shoulders, tight abdomen, round feet, and flat top cover. The body is painted with blue ground, twigs and flowers around the shoulders and feet, and the rest are painted with white glaze in the style of Doucai, and painted with various butterfly patterns. “Made in the reign of Emperor Qianlong” regular script is printed in blue on the bottom, with double circles. This piece is in pairs (with the old enamel 449), and is stored in a wooden box with the title “Qianlong year made copper bodied jar with wide enamel round lid”. It is imitated from the Yongzheng Dynasty, while the same kind of jar in Yongzheng is imitated from the Chenghua Doucai work.
