Lip, square ears on both sides of the long neck, sloping shoulders, long belly, short legs. The inner wall and the outer bottom of the utensil are covered with light blue glaze. There is no glaze on the edge of the sole and the body is exposed. In the center of the outer bottom, there is a red colored seal script “made in Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty”. The mouth edge is painted with a gold edge, the neck is covered with blue glaze, and the lower edge is in the shape of Ruyi cloud head. The glaze is painted with the pattern of a bat holding a chime, and the lower part is decorated with two fish and a crocus. Two ears are painted with gold color on the dark red glaze. The belly wall is made of white glaze and painted with the scene of children holding dragon boat races on the river. The children on the bank set off firecrackers or played gongs and drums, making the scene lively. The belly bottom is blue glaze ground, and is painted with flower patterns. The outer wall of the foot circle is painted with red stripes on the pink glaze. This piece belongs to the Qing Palace’s “magnetic embryo foreign color”, but it has often been called “pastel” since the early Republic of China.
