- Description:
The base of the lamp is a disc, with three cloud patterns and flat feet. The whole device is decorated with silk cutting techniques. The outer wall of the plate is blue, decorated with red lotus petal patterns. There are a deep relief turtle and two snakes on the plate. The inner wall is used as the river teeth of the sea. On the back of the turtle stands a three-dimensional winged petrel (in the shape of a crane). The body of the petrel is white. A circle of Ruyi cloud decorative belt around the neck and the two layers of scales and feathers above the wings are red. The feathers are made of silk. There is a candlestick on the top of Yan’s head. There are three layers from bottom to top. The lower layer is smaller than the indigo ground, the middle is green land, and the upper layer is the largest, red ground, all decorated with scroll patterns. On the bottom, there is a four character double line regular script of “made in the year of Qianlong” carved in intaglio on both sides of the frame.
