  • Description:
    Leather pen holder, with the appearance of a section of pine trunk, which is used to mark the protruding pine branches, leaves, trunk scales and galls. The leather has warm color, special texture and clear and layered carving lines. It is carved with a running script written by the Emperor Qianlong: “The sound flows through the blue waves, and the yin returns to the scales of the old dragon.” It is the two lines in the poem inscribed on “Wang Hui Song Feng Calligraphy House”, which was made by the Emperor Qianlong in the 26th year of the reign of Emperor Qianlong (1761), and is engraved with a “cloud cluster” seal. At the bottom, there is a small box of “Qianlong Imperial Use” printed with an embossed clerical script. It is a rare carving craft of Qing court leather.
