  • Description:
It is covered with dark and light green cross grain Songhua inkstone, with fine ridges around it. The inkstone pool is inlaid with natural texture mother shells, which is matched with the light relief cloud patterns around it. It looks like a cloud waterfall billowing. Although it is small in size, it looks magnificent. It is matched with the natural dark and light yellowish brown texture inkstone box, which looks like ink halo, mountain, sea, cloud and fog. On the back of the inkstone, there is an inscription in the middle of the inkstone: “To use silence is to live forever.” And “Kangxi Chenhan” quadrangle seal. This inkstone inscription of Emperor Kangxi was taken from Tang Geng, a scholar in the Northern Song Dynasty, who wrote the “Family Collection Ancient Inkstone”. After observing the movement of brush, ink and inkstone, he realized the ultimate principle of sustainable health preservation.
