    This mandala is represented by turquoise in various shapes, such as Mount Xumi, the four major continents, Mount Qijin, the sun and the moon. It is surrounded by a round and huge coral string, which was the gift of the Fifth Dalai Lama (1617-1682) when he entered Beijing in the ninth year of Shunzhi (1652). This piece was originally supplied to the West Yellow Temple. Zhang Jiahutuktu was invited to the Inner Court, and later it was supplied to the Buddha Hall of the Heart nourishing Hall. The density of metal work and the quality of coral and turquoise are superior. The mandala is in full bloom in a round leather box. The lid of the box is pasted with white silk. It is written in Han, Manchu, Mongolian and Tibetan characters. The Chinese characters are: “The benefit of gold is made of Manda. When the Emperor Shizu came to Beijing, the five generations of Dalai Lamas offered it to the West Yellow Temple. Zhang Jia, Hu Tuke, with their good fortune for thousands of years, the world is peaceful, and the interests of all living beings are heard of the emperor. Please worship it in the inner court.”.
