- Description:
This painting depicts a joyful celebration of the New Year. Children play in the garden with gongs, drums and hammers, glass horns and bamboo sticks. Firecrackers are set off in the first month, which means “peace”. The courtyard is full of Indian plants, and the ancient plum trees occupy the lake stone, showing the cold feeling of early winter. The white marble railings and the bamboo railings behind the distant door openings cut off the deep space of the picture. The painter depicts the five facial features of the figure realistically and vividly, and the pattern of the clothes is vigorous and sharp.
