  • Description:
    The shape of the utensil is similar to that of bronze “gong” – a flowing, single plate shaped like gold, with hoops and a lid attached. The front end of the lid is a beast head with two horns. The cover and abdomen are carved with a double animal facial pattern in the style of the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty. Gainei was engraved with imperial poems written by Emperor Gaozong in the forty fourth year of the Qing Dynasty. The bottom of the utensil is engraved with “Qianlong Imitation of the Qing Dynasty”.
