The whole device is carved from a whole piece of jasper. The printing surface is square. The double dragon buttons are yellow sash. The buttons make the two dragons lie on their backs. The printing surface is carved with three lines of six character seal script: “Eight signs are the treasure of longevity”. The seal is surrounded by a wide edge. The four sides are engraved with the full text of “The Treasure of Eight Strikes for Longevity” in regular script in gold. The section is “Qianlong Gengxu Imperial Brush”, and the seal is “Ancient Fragrance” and “Tai Pu”. Qianlong Gengxu was the fifty fifth year of Qianlong (1790), when Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty was eighty years old. According to the inscription “The Treasure of Eight Crusades against Mao Nian”, Emperor Gaozong of the Qing Dynasty, since he was eighty years old, still focused on the well-being of all people, so he took the meaning from Shangshu Hongfan: “…… Days are the nine domains of Siyu Hongfan,…… Eight times, that is to say, to use common people;……”, encouraging himself to be diligent, considerate, loving the people, and diligent in administration, even though he is already eighty years old. This seal is related to the “jasper” of the ancient emperor
