- Description:
Yun Shouping (1633-1690), a native of Wujin, Jiangsu, was originally named Shouping and later named Shouping. At the beginning, he was good at making mountains and waters. Because he was too modest to compete with Wang Hui (1632-1717), he changed to flowers. The painting method is inherited from Xu Chongsi’s (the second half of the 10th century) “no bone method”, and also takes part in his own ideas. The style is original, which makes him a great master of flower painting in the Qing Dynasty.
