    This penholder was a gift from Emperor Kangxi to Emperor Qianlong, the grandson of Emperor Kangxi. It is a straight square tube, with a frame like picture rising slightly on all sides. There are two lines of regular script and Yang text in it. The four sides are continuous: “In ancient times, tying a rope makes it easy to write a deed. The longitude and latitude of heaven and earth make it a complex art. Daily use is unknown, and the achievements are everlasting. The right side is a public Sui sentence.” It is a regular script with the mark of the bottom of the pot and the two sides of the box: “Kangxi Appreciation”. The shape of the pen container is square, the edge is inlaid with tortoise shell, the transition is smooth, the changes are delicate, the characters formed by the casing are clear and the workmanship is fine.
