Jade quality. The cross section of the utensil is oval, and the two long sides have half moon shaped ears, hence the name. This form was first seen in the Warring States Period, and prevailed in the Han Dynasty and the Wei, Jin, Southern and Northern Dynasties. Most of them are light lacquer products, that is, “feather cups” in “winding water flowing cups”. A small number of bronze, marble and jade are also thin and light. However, it is very solid and heavy. The light is plain without lines. The bottom of the vessel is engraved with an inscription of “Qianlong Antique of the Qing Dynasty”.
